Can anyone else reproduce this or am I missing something obvious?
Whilst tracking I like to have a standard midi instrument for AD2 with a single stereo output from AD2 and then mess around with the midi file until I am happy with the part I have created. My expectation was then to import a track template I have for AD2 with individual outputs mapped to separate audio tracks so I can use Sonar and Waves processing on the individual drums. I was expecting to be able to drag or copy the midi file from the original (stereo only track) onto the midi track of the multi output version of AD2 and then have it trigger the drums accordingly.
However when I import the track template no matter if I copy and paste or drag the midi file from the original midi track from the stereo only version it won't trigger the drums. I can get output sound from the drums by clcking on the visuals of the drums and they play as expected. However midi won't trigger.
I thought it might be something to do with midi channels but have proved it isn't by importing the multi out track template into a completely new session and then copying the midi track from the tracking session. It then works fine in the new session.
Is there anything obvious I am missing otherwise I am going to have to save all the audio channels from the tracking session as a separate track template and then cut and paste the data from the tracking sessions into it. This has proved easier said than done as I tend to freeze some synths during tracking to save latency and when I unfreeze them and save it as a new track template it is losing some of the presets I had on the individual VST's and synths.
Can anyone help please as it's driving me nuts
Thanks
Alex
