Morning to all. As we r getting plowed with 24 inches of snow here today I figured I'd hit the studio for the day !
For 10 years my work almost never included midi. Now I need certain midi additions and one simple concept eludes me.
I want to use Session Drummer, EZ drummer what have you but ONLY with click and drag mouse and keyboard. I do NOT need or want to control with my M Audio Axiom 61.
I then insert Dimension Pro or Trilogy to play a bass line. Right away, drum sounds come out of Axiom while I play a bass line.
what simple box am I not checking or u checking when I insert drums? ??? Thanks in advance to what I'm sure is a dumb question.

Each track header has an input echo button: [o))].
Turn it on for every midi track you want to respond to incoming midi.
Or turn them all on and set each track to respond to a different midi channel and change channel at your Axiom when you want to change tracks.
Or set the Always Echo Current MIDI Track option in Edit > Preferences > MIDI - Playback and Recording and select the track you want to hear played by the Axiom.

Where's our 24 inches? (central NJ)

Great thanks so much. Guess I better dig out the Axiom manual as well !
I think we may have gotten it up here in Maine !!. Just spent 6 hours cleaning 250 cars (tough time to be a car salesman)
