I started a new project a couple of weeks ago and revisited it today but when I open Sonar the project name has the full file location hierarchy in the name IE. E:\Cakewalk Projects\etc, etc. This is the only project that shows up like this. It plays ok so doesn't seem to be corrupt in any way, it just looks odd. I started another project and called it Test and the same thing happens with it. So now out of all the projects in the folder I have two that show the file location rather than just the name.

Anyone got any ideas why all of a sudden this is happening?

Maybe check Preferences and see if the File > Folder Locations > Project Files is set correctly.

Hi Susan

I looked in preferences already and can't see anything out of the ordinary. I'd have thought that all projects would have the same issue if there was anything wrong there.

Have the actual file names changed or are you talking about the project names displayed in the Recent Project list?

No the file names are the same it's in the Quick Start pop up that pops up when I first open sonar.

Edit: Yeah the Recent Project list.

It's not your fault then. I and a few others have seen the whole path in the list for years. Whether the project name accompanies the path or not seems to be determined by the length of the project name.

Well I'll be fecked......  You are right. The project I was working on was called Shell and that is about the shortest title I have. I created another and gave it a longer name and the path is gone! Nice one!
