I have 32 Midi tracks which I've had to insert a Modulation Control value of 100 at 1:01:000. The value for each is set to 100.

Adding them all was a pain!

Now I have to edit each one from 100 to 80.

DO I really need to do this one at a time or is there a way to select them all in Event View, and edit them all at once? Or another way to approach this?

The reason I'm doing this is because Garritan Pocket Orchestra uses the MOD wheel for volume control. If I don't put this event in, each instrument starts off at 0, which is a pain.

Thanks for any advice.

It won't help with what you're trying to do at the moment, but in general, when using GPO it's best to disable the "Zero controllers" option under Preferences > Project > MIDI so the modulation wheel values aren't zeroed out.

Process > Find/Change should do the trick. You have to select the events you want to change first.

Also, inserting the controllers as a clip and then copy the clip to all tracks will make it easy to create (you can copy several clips from adjacent tracks at once, so you have 1, 2, 4, 8, 16, 32 tracks after each copy) and easy to change (if the clips are linked). You may want to use two CCs in that case, on the one hand to give the clip some length, on the other hand because Sonar seems to ignore CCs at the very end of a clip.

You'll want to heed Steve's warning...I believe this goes for all of Garritan's products but I know for sure at least pocket orch, personal orch and Instant orch
