I just thought I'd mention it so the bakers can see if there's a significant quantity being flagged, even though in this instance I have no idea what caused the lockup.
 
My project was tiny - four MIDI tracks going to SampleTank3, two audio tracks with guitar already recorded on each, only one plugin, Waves Abbey Road ADT on one audio track. That's it. I went to the Inspector to change the colour of a track and everything froze/locked up. I had to use Task Manager to close the program. Whatever happened messed up the project - when I tried to reload it I got the same locking up, so I had to revert to an earlier saved version.
 
Sorry, I have no idea how to recreate as I haven't a clue what caused it. I proceeded working along the same lines on the old saved version of the project and had no problems.  Is the 'Problem Reporter' from X3 now doing its work invisibly, or was it scrapped? I didn't see it appear.

Rematrix seems to crash it pretty consistently. It's not the only thing, but one I've reproduced multiple times.

Skyline_UK, is there anything in the Windows Event viewer?
 
I had Platinum lock up on me yesterday when ctrl copying VX64 Vocal plugin to a new track. Event viewer said it was a CrossThread application hang.
 
I've had these before in X3E - my solution is to never ctrl click OR clone tracks, however yesterday I forgot! I couldn't reproduce on reloading the project and performing the ctrl copy VX64 however!
