Gents,
I really like the workflow of sonar platinum a lot,
specially the prv, the mixer wiew and the ad packs.
But running platinum, I can only open one gui of an fx gui aso ,

Opening another one, the one which was openend before, disappears automatically.
Did some one of you know, how to change the preferences,
so that it´s possible to open 3 or more fx gui´s at a time?
Thanks in advance!

I believe that you may be suffering form the Recycle Plugins Window syndrome.

Press P to open preferences, under file click on VST Settings at the bottom left is a tick box "Recycle Plugins Window" un-tick that and I think your problem may well go away.

Something that was added to Platinum to reduce Plugin GUI clutter.

Hope that helps.

When opening up plugins you can toggle this behaviour by holding the ctrl key. It's great for managing the amount of screen real estate the plugin windows take up.

I also discovered that you can press the [ctrl] key while Double clicking on the second vst or dx plugin. Then it will open as many as you want. If you close all of the vst gui's then it will revert back to the Recycle mode.

Thanks, Wookie,
I tried your hind and every other constellation possible under vst preferences-
Recycle Plugins Window,
but there´s still only gui at a time opening.

Any other idea?

I had the noticed the same thing and thought it was a bug. I'm glad it's a feature

while it's clearly an improvement, it's weird that the new sonar has it enabled by default, causing much wtf?

there's a push-pin looking thing in the upper right corner of the open plugin... enable it and it will keep open when the next plug is opened.

The options "Recycle Plugins Window" aso have never
caused  problems imo, so I don´t understand were you are talking about.
