I didn't install Melodyne Essential because I have editor. Will editor work in Platinum as is or do I need to do a reinstall? Thanks for any info!

I also have Melodyne Editor so didn't install Essential. Editor showed up fine in Platinum without requiring a reinstall.

Don't forget that there is just one Melodyne image.
It's the license that triggers the functionality.

It shouldn't matter because Melodyne installs the ONE Program Code that functions based upon your license 'type and value'.

That would imply that we can get Essential and Editor updates via C3 since Sonar probably doesn't care what license you have. I should not have hidden Essential in C3

There are MANY here for whom the install did NOT properly recognize
Melodyne Editor (myself included).  It did not show up in either Region FX
or in the VST List.
 
This required an uninstall of ME, then a rescan of Plugins, then a reinstall
of ME and a rescan (which occurs at startup).

The other way is to move the ME dlls out of their folders, rescan, then put
them back and rescan.  This method didn't work for me, but did for others.

So while it should work properly it doesn't always....so be forewarned...

Seems to be working fine. I worked with a track and no problems rendering etc.

Is there a new update for Melodyne?  The last email notice I got from Celemony was for the 2.1.2 update back in Nov of 2013.

That's the last update I had installed and it's the latest on the Celemony site.
