I know some of you did not believe me when I said- I can crash it very soon. Well- it did not make us weight too long. It crashed on simple procedure. Piano roll view. 2 notes were transposed +12, then "Undo", then one of the notes was edited to be D6, and it would show G 6 instead, so I attempted to move the note and it crashed. I have a screen shot, but the forum software wont let me upload it (no options to select), and I don't have URL.

Can you reproduce this in a clean, empty project? If so, submit a problem report.
Every time I have gone to the trouble of preparing a set of instructions to show the problem, and submitted it via this link, the bug has been addressed by Cakewalk.

After restart Piano Roll still not working. The notes entered do not match the visual representation on keyboard. Other words, if I click mouse on the key A5, it actually plays Eb7, and if I right click on the note, it shows Eb7 in the box, while visual picture is that note corresponds to A5 on keyboard. May be if I restart computer and not just Sonar, it will get better, but this is annoying. This is 3rd session after the upgrade. Last night I spent my entire time fixing MIDI echo triggering wrong midi ch, tonight- Piano roll crashed Sonar. How not to be frustrated? I do not have time to spend day after day to fix it. We pay money for it to work. Another $150 and it still not working.

Stickman, I do not know if it will reproduce it. I have a picture of it happening. I can take another picture of it showing wrong notes. I am sure if I work more with it, it will crash again. Unstable program does not crash consistently. It becomes unstable and acts unpredictable.

Here- it just crashed again after Copy/Paste midi notes. Copy/Paste was involved first time, but the 2nd crash is after restart of Sonar and not the computer, so it must be still unstable. Need to restart computer itself.

There could be an issue with zoom magnification levels in PRV. Check out this post. See if it is related to your issue.

Ok- the Piano Roll showing wrong notes on the roll is reproducible after computer full restart. It related to freezing software instrument and then unfreezing and attempting to change notes. After it unfreezes, it shows keyboard not aligned with the greed. If somebody can submit it to the bug report, please, do so. I already spent whole evening dealing with it. It is a bed time. Thank you.

Thank you for posting other thread. I do not see any difference in the size of zoom. It just not showing right notes, looks exactly the same. One way or another- there is a problem- we not suppose to try to allign keyboard all the time- it should stay there. I am aware how hard it can be to some time alight a picture in word document or on the web page, but this is new issue- it was not happening with X3.
