I like how PRV works in Sonar now.  I stumbled with the X series somewhat.  I could always get what I wanted , but had to think about things once in a while.  I do not like thinking.  just doing.  I don't like change much.  I still don't mind composing music with manuscript, pencil and a real good eraser.
 
So for whatever reason I'm feeling good about PRV.  The new changes are very intuitive at least for me. If they get changed I might not ever update again....unless of course, staff view is improved.

I absolutely love that hidden midi clips (when midi comping) don't get edited by default when I move notes around that are on the same key nor when I edit velocities. Big, big +1!

Another thing I noticed that I love, that previous versiona (X3 at least) didn't do:
 
If I have a drum map assigned and I open the PRV, it's the drum pane that comes up! Finally! Before, the PRV would open and we had to manually open the drum pane.
