• SONAR
  • Still encountering problems/bugs with X3e, but...

As I understand it, those won't be fixed (unless they're rolled into the latest SONAR.)

If I'm correct, then there's no point in my pursuing the ones that auto-generated reports for CW or reporting any new problems I run into with X3e.

Am I right?

Thanks-

That would be my guess Susan, but there are others here much more qualified to answer you questions.

You know better than that. If the problem/s are within the experience of others a solution may be found here.

For the record there are very few bugs in Sonar X3e. At least ones that would cause reports to be generated.

Nothing is flawless.  However the X3e is very stable.

They will roll bugs from previous versions into the latest version?

Wouldn't any bugs that still existed in X3e have been part of the program where development started ages ago. We don't really know yet what bugs were squashed and those that survived.

One things for sure that In development terms X3e was a long time ago and the new version just released is a whole dev cycle along.

X3e is the first version I've had that auto-generated reports. Either that, or I just never ran into a problem that triggered one up through 8.5.3. So no, I don't "know better than that." Sheesh.

Maybe there are "very few bugs" in X3e. I'm certainly not in a position to know or dispute that. I was asking about the ones that I've encountered and in particular whether there was any point in following up with the "Problem Report" ones since from what I understand there will be no additional fixes for X3e.

Thanks-
