I've been holding off on placing a pre-order with Sweetwater hoping an email would come, but I guess not.
I can see where it's a good move for Cakewalk though. Let a few people go through the process to see how it goes before releasing it to everyone. If any problems pop up, they have a chance to fix it. I don't think it's a matter of your money being any different.

Me too! But at least by not having it until next week I might get to watch the football games this weekend!

I think the timing of this was very well thought out. Release the news 10 days before NAMM. Take a few days for everyone to "de-bunch" their undies. Let a few people buy it and tell the others how it is going. I am one of the fortunate few. I just completed check-out and will move one to the next steps. The store and paying sure went good. The new store is an improvement over the old.

Unfortunately my work today is sound design within Omnisphere so I might not get a chance to run through everything, but I will try post some more info later.
 
 
First thing i have noticed is that there is now an FX on/off button and an add fx button in the FX bins. No more right clicking to bypass or bring up the insert menu. Nice!

My download's at 25% after 10 mins. Busy servers?
