I had X3e working perfectly with melodyne Editor. I installed platinum and it didn't show it in any of the plug in windows and was not available as a region effect. I uninstalled melodyne, reinstalled it, did a reset of the VSTs and rescanned. Now when it gets to the Melodyne.vst3 it gives and error "Error:[Melodyne] Call initProc".

Did I do something wrong? Do I need to uninstall everything and start again?

Thanks.

A few of the early invites had that issue as well.
Check this thread and you should be able to resolve the issue.

Sorry, late getting back to this. I have read the afore mentioned posts and will check it out again when I get back to my DAW this evening. I did a complete uninstall of platinum and will reinstall Melodyne after checking the VST3 path that is in the command center.

However, it seems that enough people are having this issue that something is going on with the platinum install. The cakewalk answers in the forum seem to try to point to a bad melodyne install but from what I read people already had it installed and working fine but installing Platinum makes it not work.

I am sure the method suggested in the thread I started will work for you.
Good Luck
