I have 4 HD with several partitions.  I have always installed SONAR onto D:\ so I could put ONLY tho Win 7x63 OS on C.  Now with the Command center download of Platinum, it give s no otions and defaults to putting it on C:\.  Several of the other addons like addictive drums 2 can be downloaded separately, but there is not independent download link for Platinum that I can find on the products page of my account.  Do I have to download it thruui the command center and do I have to put in on C:\?

Just go to your account and look at your products - connected products. Find new sonar and create a download link. Download and run installer, and you will be able to install into your directory of choice. I just had the same problem.

I think the command center has a preference or options menu. Not at my pc, but that is where I would check. ..

The command center only specifies the VST install paths. Not Sonar.

When I go to my accounts and clink on Platinum, a down load link does not appear.  Where/how did you find it?

When you click on Platinum, a list appears. Click on Platinum on THAT list and a link generates :)

The link appears using Explorer as the browser, but not firefox.  Thanks for your help.

You do it manually by going to the program data folder and cakewalk command center downloads and install it from the downloaded file.

I tried that several times and it wouldn't generate a link for me. I tried it with Firefox, Chrome and Internet Explorer. Nothing worked. I tried again, just now, and it DID generate the button for the download. Perhaps their servers were getting hammered and caused issues for me. I don't know...

As previously stated, cmnd center has no option to change install directory, and didn't recognize my previous sonar installations.
Downloaded the platinum installer manually, (firefox did generate link), but Cmnd Center has no uninstall option, and there isn't one in windows control panel uninstall menu, or in the platinum install directory on C drive.
 
How can I uninstall platinum so that it can be reinstalled in the proper directory manually?
I'm missing something.
 
EDIT: Not trying to hijack OPs thread btw, just add to it since its related to drive install locations.
After rebooting again, uninstall still doesn't show anywhere.
