Hello, just one question about the new membership.

For example, you are a member of a project studio and you have rent sonar with your own account. Now because of discrepancies, you want to leave the project, but they want to continue. Is it now possible to transfer the account to another person of the project team, so they can go on working with sonar or also to renew the membership with their own name?

Kind regards, Timo

I can't see Cakewalk changing their long standing policy of a non transferable licence.

With the hundreds and hundreds of post Ive read in these last few days I haven't even seen it mentioned.. I think if they had changed it there would have been a lot of news about it.

I think this will work if a "studio" wants to own a license:

If you want to buy a "studio" a license go get the "studio" a unique email address.

If the "studio" doesn't have its own financial accounting you can still buy the "studio" a gift of a SONAR license using your personal payment options.

Further payments in the name of the "studio" will can be linked to the "studio" with the "studio's" email address and Cakewalk login info.

I was thinking much along the same lines as Mike.  But rather than the studio owning (or paying for) a license, how about if someone created a "dummy" SSO account and then gave that account to someone else?  I am sure the payment info in the account can changed.  This, of course, is a violation of the "Terms of Agreement" and maybe illegal.  Oh oh, I think I might have found a security breach.
