OK, one aspect of my problem solved.  Even though logged in via the new 'single login' procedure, if you use the 'search' box for a product, you seem to have to go to the 'change region' link at the top of the page, otherwise the shop seems to default to US$ and you can't get past if you're non-US.  Listed products pages seem to know your identity and list the products on the way to the checkout in your local currency.  The old shop used to automatically show you a page asking for your currency preference.  The new one seems to save you the bother and link this through your login.  Unless you do a search for a product, in which case you're stuffed unless you have previously 'changed region'.  A minor coding glitch I would guess.  So now I've paid (again!) for an mp3 codec.  Which works.  Hooray!  A little wrinkle for us international users, maybe, but Sonar is still my favourite DAW and its forum community THE best.

I gave up trying to buy anything. It was more of an impulse buy because of the sale. Gibson/Cakewalk's loss not mine.

The only problem is my forum e-mail is different than my store e-mail. No products associated with forum e-mail. Old account not accessible.

Fixed it. Changed the e-mail on the forum login to the one from the store. All is good!

What a nice surprise. I miss being able to sort products in the Cakewalk Store though. Please bring it back.

All my products are missing in my account except 8.5. I need to re-download X3 and associated plugs I purchased.
How do I get them back?

As I have been trying to install my Cake stuff, on a brand new PC, I've run into several issues.
1. I bought the VKFX suite and have the official emails confirming that, but it is not in my "new" account, so how do I get that again?
2. I bought Rapture and though it is in my account, the serial is different and I don't have the right Reg. code. When I tried to register the other serial number (I have no idea how I have 2), it says that one is registered to someone else.
3. I don't see how to upgrade (again) my Melodyne to Editor2, which I bought when I upgraded to X3PE.
 
That'll do for now! LOL
