Hi, Andrew / Ryan,
it seems that my PMs have not been sent although I received successful messages.  Please, if you have the time, check my account; not all my products were transferred to the new account.
I liked very much the new layout!
Thanks.

"We invite you to check out the store and leave us feedback on this thread about your experience. We'll work to fix any issues as fast as possible."

it wasnt even a rant. he just used the word while giving feedback. what the **** kind of timeframe is 'once the dust has settled' anyway? Talk about derailing threads.

Im out of here.

Well said.  If you represent a software company be careful how you treat the end user with words. We like to play sensitive "oh you hurt my feelings"!  If you can't use a better choice of words then you should say nothing and let another representative speak.  Being defensive doesn't increase sales.
I have a paranoia based from experience when there are website changes.  I've had to dig up emails from various vendors who claimed I never had license when I need to upgrade a product or download it again. This happened more than it hasn't so pardon me.

We have a whole bunch of specials coming up this week to celebrate the holidays (it won't be X4 though).
If you want to experience the store, here's a special we just posted ahead of time:

Advanced Audio Editing: SONAR X3 & Melodyne ARA Video (Download)
Regular price: $39.95
Special price: $9.95

Is it using the current Melodyne that comes with Sonar or is it the more expensive version of Melodyne that you can upgrade to.

It would be foolish of Cakewalk to not offer X4 before their Christmas holiday when folks budget and expect to spend money on gifts and presents.

I've already read the posts after this, but I think it's too late for CW to announce/release X4 now, because it would further wreck holiday budgets.  I've declined my spouse's offer of a Christmas present, yesterday my aunt asked me if there's any software out there want and I said not yet.

But I'm not waiting on CW, I have no idea if I'll ever upgrade to X4 (4 releases are jinxed for me personally, CWPA 4.5 was a kind of the gift from heaven that Sonar 8.5 was, and I'm not fond of 8 releases either) but it really depends on what other companies are doing.

X3e may still be quirkish, but it's pretty much bullet-proof for me, so I'm very happy.

I predict I'm going to spend in excess of $500 on software within 3 months (saving up due to paranoia) so as weird as it was to not hear anything about X4 in October, CW opening a new on-line store now with absolutely nothing I want to buy is even weirder.

CW should hire a college kid on vacation to call me daily and tell me why I should want... something.  Ok, that would be harassment...

But what I've always loved about CW is that they've always inexpensively (and very effectively) filled voids in other things I couldn't afford, so my head reflexively turns this time of year.

Ok, to the point my account on the new site seems to indicate I've not "redeemed" some things that I'm pretty sure I have at some point - I don't need my history from '96 so that's fine - and I'm good.

I like the look & the layout, but it didn't like my debit card for some reason - I ended up having to use Paypal

You just put the order in?

I wonder if this is a wider issue.

I purchased the Softube Mix Bundle recently and it would not except the same credit card that I have used for years.

I, also, ended up using Paypal.

So I managed to get into the new store by going through this link.  Otherwise I just end up at the old store.

In the new store, how do you log out ?  There are no user account buttons of any kind.

PS. All the  BUY NOW  buttons are pretty hard on the eyes.

(actually worse in my case  ACHETER MAINTENANT  all over the place)

I clicked on a link in a post above and got to the Cleverbridge shop but no menu option anywhere to see my purchases history.  Should it be there?  If so where?
If I go to the main Cakewalk site and click on 'Store' I get the old store.  I'm totally confused.

When you hit the login page you get access to a menu which includes "My Account".  This has all your product history.

Even though X3 may have worked well for some right now, for an additional fee you can get the latest X with further bugs fixed in X4. lol And you get some pretty cool new features and updates I assume, and the calming of gear lust if Sonar is your primary DAW for production.

But Christmas holiday shopping season always incur additional holiday consumer spending when products are available. As people's budget money becomes depleted after Christmas.
