stores navigation has improved i guess. categories are easily accessed and it helps having all products on one page. id visit it more if there were new products made available more regularly.

My Account has slightly improved since I first visited a couple days ago. Serial and reg codes and DL links all reside together now which makes sense. The categories are not quite perfect. I am seeing PC module downloads in Additional Products, instead of with their counterparts in Other Products. Not sure 'Other' Products is the best title choice for our main Cakewalk purchases.

I visit these pages only twice a year as its rare anything is released or on sale (VKFX purchases with the $25 survey gift card, and Concrete Limiter sale in May this year. Just X3 and the free delay last). Hopefully this overhaul is to make way for new releases in some way.

Okay, just bought the Melodyne ARA video. The transfer to my account after buying (Paypal) was instant so that is good.

A few things: I don't really care for the store design at all. It feels too big and too outdated. Shrink the text and the buy button down quite a bit and that will probably help a lot. Maybe also left side navigation so we can narrow products down further. For instance, if I'm looking for Z3TA+ 2 Packs, I don't want to have to look through Rapture packs to find them. Most stores use left pane navigation because it works well.

Another thing is that I would love to see an "already owned" banner next to things we've already bought if possible.

We have a whole bunch of specials coming up this week to celebrate the holidays (it won't be X4 though).
If you want to experience the store, here's a special we just posted ahead of time:

Advanced Audio Editing: SONAR X3 & Melodyne ARA Video (Download)
Regular price: $39.95
Special price: $9.95

The old store, the only one I can get into without going through this link, has this for 24.95$

So if you're buying anything, I guess don't do through the old.

EDIT: On the other hand, DSF sound packs are 1/2 price in the old store, full price in the new....

If I go to the login page (the only to get to it is to log out first) and can see some of my bought products in the new list, but all store links on this page and elsewhere take me to the old store.  So what's the trick ?

And the insanity of single log on continues.

I log in to the CW website, but when I attempt to view the store I am informed the PW is not correct. So I attempt to change the PW and the email info is also not accepted.

And::::::::::::

What the list of software purchases used to be displayed on less than 2 pages, but now uses nearly 5 pages. And cannot be easily copied and pasted to XL for review.

Lots of wasted space and time.

No doubt, the idiocy of uncluttering will take years to burn out.  Just like placing "MY" in front of everything.

And the list used to be sorted by date. Now by product.
DP 1.5 is listed three times.
WHICH IS THE LATEST I PURCHASED?????????????

Oh now I get the wasted space stuff:

TOUCH SCREENS::::

Nearly a BILLION Non-touch screen computers on the planet.

Less than 100 million touch screen computers by the end of next year.

But, even those will use mice and keyboards for most work.

So, why are we being burdened with what is a significant waste of screen space and time?

How about paying more attention to the MAJORITY of computer users on the planet? Rather than the probable NON-Sonar users of the minority products, most of which will not run Sonar.

The layout has nothing to do with touch screens. Can we try to keep the feedback constructive? If you don't like the new layout that's fine and that's okay. There are some design considerations for future products that will not work with the old layout.

My personal concern is more about functionality. How are things working? Arguing over the size or layout of things will always be subjective. Whether or not something works, however... well who can argue with that?

Have you checked out the FAQ we posted for getting help with logging in? I'm hoping we've covered enough scenarios to answer peoples questions when it comes to this.

The list is a list of product ownership. It is not a store transaction log. It is not trying to be that. Instead it is focused on delivering product ownership consistently and accurately. If you have DP listed three times it most likely means you own three copies from various purchases.

Edit: typos galore... sorry!
