Alright!  I get it now.

Everything seems to be there, except my purchases before Sonar 5. CWProf 6 & 7 and CWPA 8 & 9. No big deal. I did send in feedback to let them know.

Thanks Willy

Just wanted to thank Mike in Customer Service for fixing what I had made a mess of earlier. After waiting a less than a minute on hold, he was able to reset my logon and the email and verification went smoothly this time. Great customer service. Everything seems to have transferred over as expected. Thanks for the help.

Sorry, but I still don't understand this.  (I do understand SSO and implemented it at a very large company.)  What I don't get is this:  I jumped through some hoops here, gave my Cakewalk password, gave my existing forum password, did all the steps, got email, etc.

Now I am still signing on to the forum with my old forum password and signing on to Cakewalk with my old Cakewalk password.  So, what did I accomplish?

See my post above. #159 and Willy's answer on post #161. Then go to the link Willy provides, sign in and look at the top and click on "Products" and you should see all your stuff. If not, hit the "Feedback" link next to the product link.

My understanding is that this is just step one of the process. If I understand things correctly, I think you'll find that down the track one password will access all areas, store, forums etc.

Exactly!

When you click on the link I Willy's post, and you are already signed in here on this forum, you will automatically go to your account page. Look next to the home button and you will see "Products" click that and see all your stuff, without signing in again!

This may not be the place for this question, but since I am renewing "myself" here, how can I change me user name? Pentimento Sound was my studio from 2000 to 2006, but it is closed and (if I open another one ....)I would like to change my user name.
My updating went fine after I saw this thread, otherwise I would still be thinking something happened to me, alone.
No I am not paranoid. LOL

Hi Ryan,

I am also "locked out". I had to create a whole new account in order to post here.

My "old" username is PJH and I did migrate my account successfully until I received the "validate" email. I clicked the link, copied it into my browser, deleted my cache, cookies etc but no success.

I looked at the manual validation but have not received a validation code so I can't go down that route either.

Please can you assist by sending me a validation code or resetting my account?

I'd still like to use my old username etc.

Thanks,

Peter.

Hi Peter,

I just brewed up some magic potions. Can you try logging in again?
