Don't know what's going on today...

I have migrated my account when this first started and all had been well on each of my devices, except 1

I posted this in the main forum earlier as I was unable to find this particular thread from my iPads... Until I changed my setup from mobile to full...

But on my win7x64 DAW I can't get logged in. I use the same info as on all my other machines but it will not accept the submission of my login name and password. It just sits there...

I cleared the cache and removed the Cakewalk cookies. Then I tried again with the same result... I also tried to migrate again (?) but the same thing happened. The page goes nowhere when I try to submit my data...

Why on that one machine?

Thanks!
Keni

[edit]

While searching and trying, I came across an option regarding clearing stored logins... I don't remember the actual wording, but it held all the "stay logged in" keys I guess... Clearing that did it... Now all is well while I await guessing my passwords for other sites that were likely cleared as well...

Just after the one login "experience," I had attempted to create 3 new forum logins, using 3 different email addresses.

I got the confirmation messages, I confirmed, I am "logged in" and am NOT logged in.

When one of them worked, I got the error about I did not have the permission to post.

I sent messages to the website manager via the form.

Mid-last week I tried again to create a new forum account, with one of the previous email addresses, which was accepted. (Obviously the previous user "creation" were not such.)

Got the email confirmation, confirmed. And same result: cannot login.

Just now I attempted to log in and the same result:   not logged in and NO error.

Have any new user accounts actually been created in the past 2 weeks?

-----------------------------------

I did not want to combine my accounts. The process was not clear. I did not find any opt-out option.

But now I am instructed to change how I want to login.  Should have been a choice during the procedure.

This should not have been a mostly user responsible transition.

Who do I contact and how to get my new forum account functional?

I have used the website form twice but no response.

So . . . with this new system, I'm able to log on and post in the main Sonar X3 forum, but if I try to post in other forum sections, eg. Songs . . . I get a message that I don't have permission to post . . . until I log off, then log on again, then I'm then allowed to submit a post . . . are there still bugs to work out here, or have I not "upgraded" properly ?

Ever since this change of "Single Sign" on has happened, I have had a problem with FireFox 31.0.

Problem: When I go to the Gear/Software forum and click on a thread in that forum, I get the thread page loading, and just when it finishes loading, I get redirected to the main X Series forum.

Yes I have cleared all cookies from Cakewalk. And then it works, as long as I don't log in! But when I log in, it reverts back to the above behavior.

Any idea what's going on?

[edit] Just tried Kenny's idea of clearing "Loged In Cookies" and that didn't work. And now even logging off show's the same behavior. : (

Please send me a private message with the email address you used when filling out the contact form. I don't see anything from the email address associated with this account.

Thanks for the feedback - its most likely a permissions issue in the forum settings. We have discovered a handful of curious "behaviors" with the forum when implementing Single Sign On per-their directions that we are still ironing some of the kinks out of.

Are either of you using the mobile theme by chance?

Either way, we'll keep working on it and get it fixed.

No Williy. Not on the mobile version. This is with FF 31. Desktop version.

On my Win8 phone it works great! No problems at all.

Not that it helps per se, but I'm using Firefox 31.0 on a desktop as well (Win7 x64) without any issues.  So I'd imagine Willy is correct in that it's probably a Forum permissions issue of some kind.   Here's hoping you get it worked out soon!
