I routinely have multidock on second screen with console... and could just drag my open vsts, like Kontakt, over to the MD and I could park them there.  This no longer works the same... now have to right click Kontakt and tell it to dock... I actually like this better as it would often dock when I didn't want it to.

Are you actually docking the plug-ins in the multidock or floating them on the second screen? If floating, the new recycle plug-in window feature may be the issue, read about it here http://www.cakewalk.com/D...p=NewFeatures.18.html#

Never had one

This still may be related to the new recycle feature. Did you try turning it off? The link has the preference path.

I just park something like Kontakt behind the console, which is in the multidock, on the second monitor and toggle with shortcut "D". I also was able to hook up an older Dell 15" flat screen using a $12.00 PCIe card. The other 2 are on the i7 mobo. The Dell sits off to the side of the main two but right in front of the midi keyboard so it's great to use with an instrument. This has been a good setup but somebody here talked about dragging the taskbar onto a third screen when SONAR is open so it doesn't get in the way of the track view or console view. It's great to get the Taskbar out of the way. Don't mean to get off topic, just wanted to give you more options with a new one I just got I really like.

Dana, have you tried dragging and dropping a plugin to the multi-dock using a modifier key?   I can't remember which one it is, but I'm pretty sure either Ctrl+Drag, Alt+Drag or Shift+Drag or will allow that - much better IMO since it avoids accidental docking.

thanks, all... I'd love a third monitor but space.... I've decided I like that it doesn't auto-dock as before as I have no more "accidental docking". just right click anything I wanna dock...very nice to have all my kontakts just sitting in the dock...

Haven't tried the key modifiers Steve... just right click on the plugin top zone and it asks if you wanna dock... works great!

I'll have to remember the right-click thing...
