Your list contains features of the program, not installation options. Did you install New Sonar already? If you install it, you will see what I am talking about. The descriptions in my first post are taken from Command Center. As I say- Sonar used to come as 4 parts installer. Now it comes as many parts. This, for example:
"Channel Tools, LP-64 Multiband, and LP-64 EQ are all included in this download. *Requires SONAR Professional or Platinum"
I do not use Channel tools, so I have no memory of what I used to have. I dont know. Is it part of X# or is it new for New Sonar only? If it was part of X3, why then they would say, "*Requires SONAR Professional or Platinum"? This statement, to me, implies that it is NEW feature, otherwise, it would say, "Requires Sonar".
"The full Nomad Factory Blue Tubes bundle includes 6 EQs, 6 dynamic plugins, 6 effects, and 1 reverb giving you all the necessary tools to enhance your projects with that vintage tone and color. *Requires SONAR Professional or Platinum"
I know there used to be something Blue: Blue reverb I remember. I do not know if there were 6 EQs or 5 EQs and how many dynamic plugins there used to be. So are ant of these new? Again- it says, *Requires SONAR Professional or Platinum.
This one: The Boutique Suite contains SONAR's most advanced collection of plugins including TH2 Producer, Breverb SONAR, Bifilter2, VX-64 Vocal Strip and PX-64 Percussion Strip *Requires SONAR Platinum. This sounds like something we already have, so why in a world it says, "Require Sonar Platinum?"
I think Cakewalk needs to explain it. They want to make it sound attractive for the new customers, and if we had no Sonar installs, it makes sense- everything is new. For old users (yeah, us old boring demanding users with expectations of software to work), it makes no sense. This needs to be explained better. These are individual custom installations.
