Being that cake have said it better to test on a small user base than a large one, then invites are to be testers. So excepting the invite is helping them out.

I think it would be better of all those testers had their subscription time start from the release date.

Exactly.

I accept the invitation, buy NOW, buying bugs which slipped through, too, which I spend time on finding/reporting for them to squash for the official release, and as a reward, I get the necessity to renew earlier to have a further supported product...

This is an invitation to help THEM, by ensuring the quality of their work AND ensuring them to get money earlier. What invitation is that? They claim to bring more value to their customers. To me it seems like they bring more value to themselves, on my cost.

If you're too thick to understand, please do us a favour and don't buy the upgrade which isn't a subscription and go buy another daw. You're starting to sound like a troll after your last post with the same drivel.

Dipping our toe in the water is for your benefit. We're being rather thorough, but if the unlikely scenario where something goes terribly wrong occurs, we'll be able better manage/repair it with 20 new customers vs a million. It's not exactly a "test launch" - but it's helping us be confident before releasing to the whole world. I hope you understand.

Or actually... don't buy any DAW.
You'll just be another "fool" spending time finding/reporting bugs that only future users will benefit from anyway...
