The L-Phase EQ and MB are 'connected' products which require the new activation method, and have no registration codes that I can see.  That implies that they would require the function of the CCC to be activated.

Never tried the 'offline activation' for any connected products, so not sure how that's supposed to work.

I did not notice that LP-EQ and LP-MB were in Demo mode.

Back to the OP.

I'd say for now, since the activation servers are still up, it's best to install (or have installed) your/my SONAR Platinum and then install CbB and simply ignore the SONAR.exe unless it's for "regression bug" verification of some sort.

i seem to remember there being some (monthly or yearly?) online check that the membership was still in good order? if a user decides or forgets to swap over to the new bandlab freebie then at some moment will legacy sonar go into demo mode?
