Hi, when i open some files provided by a lynda.com tutorial, I get an error message stating several plug ins, console emulator, are missing. I've read the Help file about short 8.3 names, but before I go thru that procedure, I needed to make sure I had console emulator installed to begin with.
 
I'm using X3 Studio version c. (X3c build 224). I run the 32 bit version on Windows 7. All my other VSTs scan and install correctly. I couldnt find anything on my machine at all called "Console Emulator" so I'm wondering if I have it all.
 
Then I wondered perhaps it might be called something else. What is the true name of the plug in, and shouldnt it be in the same location as all my other VSts?

Console emulator is only in Producer version AFAIK

Thanks. I wondered if perhaps the tutorials were created in producer.
When i open X studio and create new file, I get the following screenshot: notice the Prochannel is enabled but
there is no console emulator. Is this normal for X3?

Once again, emulator is only in Producer version.
