Neither. Whelmed is the word that springs to my mind so far. Unless the "special surprise" makes it a much better deal than it looks at the moment I don't really see anything that I can't live without, so I'll give it 12 months and if it turns out to be worth it I'll buy it then.
 
As for the pay monthly thing, maybe it's just me, but the way I see it is that if people can't afford what is essentially a toy any other way then I can't help thinking that maybe they have bigger issues to deal with and shouldn't really be buying it anyway.

Hmmm normally I would pay full.... But I'm tempted to go monthly, it will be ten times easier to hide from my wife. On the flipside she has nine more chances to find out what I've bought. Damn you cakewalk for this fabulous choice. ;)

But, seeing as you decided to bring religion into it......maybe you should try praying to whoever it is you believe listens to you and ask them for $199 per year. I'll worry about my own "soul" thanks.
