Something I had hoped would change with new new update but it hasn't, Strum GS sonar edition works fine in any daw, Lounge Lizard sonar edition only works in sonar. Now having plugs that are tied to sonar is totally understandable and I get it but two plugins from the same company where the full versions cost exactly the same and one works anywhere and the other doesn't it just doesn't make sense to me. Why is it like this?

IDK, may be an oversight on AAS part not locking the Strum plug-in. Cakewalk does create the locked versions, the 3rd party provider does.

BTW I am not meaning to sound like I am complaining, I am just curious since the cut down version of lounge lizard works just fine for me, it has everything I need but it would be super nice if I could take it to ableton live with me when I am playing on my push. And strum gs is well, lets just say I am a guitarist so its not as useful to me :D

Yeah scook I figure theres an oversight somewhere cos otherwise I can make no sense of why they would lock one to sonar and not the other. Maybe I will just have to stop being stingy and put my hand in my pocket for ep-4 I use the session one enough :D

Be interesting to see if any of the cake staff have any further insight on this.

Usually 3rd party plug-ins are locked to SONAR. Only Cakewalk created plug-ins are free to use elsewhere. Don't know why the AAS plug-ins work the way they do.
