Okay, so jumped in and got my SONAR Platinum. Yay! Now here are questions about the add-ons:
 
AD2: already upgraded when I got X3. Do I need to install this version to get my add-on paks? How does that work?
Melodyne Essential: again, installed with X3, do I need to install this version to work with Platinum?
Rapture & Dim Pro: Same question, though I'm sure Platinum will pick up my already owned and installed Rapture, do I need to install this version for serial # compliance or some such?
 

And a follow-up: is there options for 32 or 64 bit install?

The C3 installs the version for your OS. I believe you will need to run the cached installers by hand to force 32bit installation.

Well, looks like it's time to leave the past behind for new projects. Good thing X3 32-bit is still around for my legacy projects.
 

Yeah, best to leave X3 on anyway, just in case.
