I'm pleased with the new features to be sure.
I'm just mulling the ProChannel versus the stackable FX bin.
Since at least X2 I had pretty much stopped using the FX Bin, since I could insert one or more FX bins into the ProChannel of a track or bus as FX chain module(s). That way I could use the most optimal bits as needed from either a ProChannel module or from non ProChannel effect(s), and mix around the flow of that signal as needed per track or bus.
Now with the stackable FX bin feature which looks kind of handy for the console I wonder if I'll start using the FX bin again more often. But if I did, the one bin won't be sandwiched between ProChannel modules in a mix and match mode which works so well.
Since I want effects sandwiched between ProChannel modules, I'm kind of suspecting I'll stay with using FX chain modules in the ProChannel after all, and not use this new stackable FX bin feature at all.
I will definitely use multiple sends feature - that's a for sure!
Wondering what other ProChannel aficionados think in this regard.
