Black is REALLY Black now.

I heard the rumors.... so it's TRUE??? Some say it's Blacker than Black.... and it get's stronger as your months accumulate until the dreaded 12th month...pfffft! back to black.

Did you get some sort of bug fix list with it? In a readme perhaps?

If not, I know you'll be busy checking out the new toys and stuff, but could you maybe see if they fixed the step sequencer? Just load a preset pattern with any drumkit on a midi track and it should randomly stop playing within a minute or two if it's still broken, otherwise it's good.

Another thing is the groove quantize, does it work now? Does it have any effect on midi notes, or does it just randomly scramble the whole thing like it used to do before they disabled it?

Yes, please, I want to read that. That has me the most concerned about purchasing the latest version. Thanks!

Once by the soaring US dollar and twice by a store exchange rate that is somewhat more than expected.

I got a good exchange rate to UK Pounds (£99) it's just the 20% VAT that they add that kills the price. (Of course, that's not Cakewalks fault)

Is that the same in Canada? (extra tax added)

Also, check out JRRShop as someone said there wasn't any VAT charges (or very little) when purchasing through them.

Anybody with the new Sonar using touch? (Wondering about any improvement especially in console view) X3 very limited (hold to right click win 8 standard not available for example, as is "click drag" equivalent).
Thanks

Canada has VAT too.

True but for goods and services produced/incurred in Canada. Burkek's concern above is due to a bias in the currency exchange rate not added vat which for Canada is not point of sale outside Canada.

Can you chose to install individual functions or roll back to a previous version?
I know there is nothing to roll back to, but perhaps that feature might be visible.
I think this would be necessary, in case you patch your software and it breaks something, you will need abilty to roll back better than a system restore point.

Bakers have already said this was a capability (numerous times ).

so you didnt get the early bird special???
