I cant spot any difference other than the transient heights and the edited wave form colours

I hope there is an option to turn off the colored waveforms.

In all the years I've used audio snap I have never cared if I had compressed or stretched a region. I only cared if it sounded better after I was done.

I would much rather continuing to see all black waveforms rather than a jumble of muddy blue and muddy red patches.

Tend to agree seems like another case of techies left to their own devices to me. whatever happened to useful things like phase coherent, single click, multi track quantizing?

OH my.

I'm glad I have Pro Tools 11 for editing drum tracks.

Once you have one-click-snapped multi tracks you can't really go back.

Yep I know I was really hoping they would get close in this new version of Sonar but Audiosnap looks exactly the same as it was to me........which is a long way off the competition

I think the functionality of AudioSnap suits me fine as it is now. It is the performance that bothers me, so if there's great improvements under the hood, then I'm happy!

I have to say, I was also hoping for a bit more in terms of AudioSnap enhancements.

I can never get it to work. I guess I dont understand it well enough.

I dunno....  Just based on description and images I think I like how the compressed and expanded regions are color-coded.  It seems similar (to me) to how clip fades are represented in the waveform display, or how some would like to see the same when using Clip Gain envelopes - it's a change to the waveform graphically displayed.   With enough transients in a clip I think it could be very convenient to know what I adjusted two weeks ago rather than listening to a region 20 times to make the same assessment.
