Hmmm, the membership part sticks out and is hard to read details from my phone. It comes across as paying for bug fixes??

You're paying the same amount as always, but you'll be getting more updates across the year.

After 1 year of membership you effectively have the next version of SONAR.

I wouldn't call these bug fixes:

But good news you'll be getting more fixes and updates to along with fully developed features.

How will this all affect Sonar Power? Will it be on a subscription basis also?

I would assume that it will.  Probably $3.50/month or $36 for the entire year.

I was wondering if there might be a new "Sonar Power" book followed by periodic supplements as new features are added. It seems that a subscription would almost have to mean releases in pdf. I would really prefer a hard copy.

A membership program just like Avid, lol. Bye bye Sonar, was a decent 1 month getting to know you.

It's no more per year than we typically spend for upgrading to a new version plus you get to keep what you get throughout the year when you get the one year membership even if you cancel later. Not seeing the problem here.

Actually,  I think this new model may be a good thing because it has the promise of constant continual development.
