Hello Everyone,

This might be a noob question, but I am stuck
I am using Native Instruments Battery 4 as my drum sampler for a synth-pop track.
I am wanting the closed hi-hat to alternate its panning for each time it plays (16th notes).  I want one note at 75% Left then the next 75% Right, and so on...
In Battery 4, this doesn't look possible.  Is there something I can do in Sonar?

Thank You!
Adam

This plugin would do the job:
https://shop.cakewalk.com/1244/catalog/product.152228/language.en/currency.AUD/?id=MXfuKXRPPK
[I hope this link works. I can't seem to find a generic link without specific currency, etc.]

If you have to login to the page I don't think you can successfully link to it as is so he case with this link.

2 ways spring to mind.

  1. Insert a pan track envelope and insert the nodes you want
  2. Insert the surround panner and tweak to taste

why can't it be done inside Battery? just set a LFO to Pulse, activate Sync, set the value to 1/16, then assign it to Pan, and set the modulation intensity slider to 75%.

the modulation section is on a per cell basis, it won't automate the entire drumkit.

Reason is that the hi-hats dont play on every 16th, there are gaps, but I still want the L-R-L-R pattern to stay consistent.  Each hit changes the pan, not the potential note placement on the grid.

Thank you!
