Ok, I added the default midi echo/delay plug-in that came with it and it works great but I can not make it 'wet', it plays both the original note and the delayed one, I was finally able to almost get it work by turning down the original velocity and letting the module amplify it which gave me a very soft original note and a louder delayed note, using that config I ran a few songs to see if it would track the tempo changes which it DID! So if I could just figure out how to get it fully wet I am all set? Perhaps a plug-in I need to download??
I have not used the MIDI Delay - I will have a look as soon as I get a chance.
Try using an audio VST - Sonitus or Channel Tools, perhaps.
Have you recorded the output of the Yamaha into Sonar? If so, insert it on that track.
Or are you listening to the Yamaha playing "live", as it were. In this case, can you not route the piano through Sonar, add the delay and use input echo.
Perhaps describe exactly what you are doing. I may be misunderstanding something really simple.
