Hi all

I saw a recent thread that mentioned uninstalling and reinstalling RMIX resolved an issue

I would like to try this but just wanted to confirm the correct procedure for uninstalling and reinstalling a plugin that was included with the Sonar X3 install

I upgraded to X3 Producer from X2 Producer via the Cakewalk store download

I have download file saved

Do I just re-run the installer and try to choose just RMIX?

Do I need to uninstall RMIX first? - if so how?

I don't want to just "give it a go" without checking for fear of ruining my current Sonar installation

I removed the old failing R-mix first (my computer/c-drive/program files/cakewalk/vst plugins/R-mix...removed the folder).
then ran part1 of the X2 installation and indeed only install R-mix, nothing else.
(I could not do this from X3 installation part1, maybe R-mix in X3 = in of the 3 other installation files, I dont know).
after that, in Sonar menubar, Edit/Preferences/File/Vst settings and rescan the VST's.

R-mix doesn't come with X3. It came with X2 so you need to run an advanced installation where you select that plugin alone.
