  • I'm having trouble finding a way to change audio settings for a project

I have an existing Sonar X3 project that has tracks recorded at 48k. Unfortunately I'm getting a warning now that it can't play because my interface is running at 44.1.

I think part of this is that I changed audio interfaces (M-Audio ProFire 2626) connected to a Yamaha O1V mixer via ADAT, so I believe that the problem is the interface/mixer connect. If I use another interface (with Analog outs, like my Line6 KB37), the project plays back fine.

The Utilities | Change Audio Format setting only allows me to change the bit depth, not the frequency.

How do I convert my project so it can play again?

Thanks in advance-

Alright - Too bad it's not one click (Noel and crew have far more important things to work on), but I'll do the import/export (or more likely I'll probably go back to the original audio files and import them in the correct format as the problematic ones were ones that were recorded in Pro Tools).

This will also give me a chance to figure out a better integration strategy between the M-Audio interface and the 01V.

Thanks,
Pat

The O1V, if used as master only outputs 44.1K as far as I know. If configured as slave, it will clock to 44.1K or 48K.
This based on using the SPDIF ports. Don't know if any of the expansion boards for it offer other options.

I have the 01v and it is only 44.1. / 20 bit. via SPDIF. I'm pretty sure it won't speak to 48 one way or the other.  I tried a few times way back when as I would much rather be using 48. But the mixer is an important part of my set up so it's the one compromise I make.
There is a Yahoo user group that has a large data base and someone there might answer this question exactly.
Google "Yahoo groups Yamaha 01v" , You need a Yahoo account to log in.
