Hi all
I am using sonar x3 and it is just fine
but sometimes one of the programs I am using i.e. Kontact, and others
will refuse to be turned off
it will not record but is still hanging on in the monitor while I am trying to record a new track with a different program
I hope you can help

Just soft synths? Try increasing the number of MIDI buffers:

Not knowing the OP, it sounds to me as if it could be the delay Kontakt has when loading big instruments or multis.

Well - I asked for a follow up from the OP back in October, and again early this afternoon, when the OP was on and involved in another post, and still have not received any further information, so I will quit asking for a status update, and will turn my attention elsewhere.
