As to new features, I would always like to see stability, compatibility and audio efficiency improved, but I don't know what they could really add to a new release that would DAZZLE the buyer.  I mean, it's got a lot of everything that I can think of.

One thing that may become a necessity and would certainly be a strong selling point today would be thorough handling of the new EBU Loudness Recommendation R118.  An EBU Mode with proper meters, total project loudness calculation, etc.
 
Stability, compatibility and audio efficiency would certainly dazzle a new buyer, even if some of us are getting used to it.
 

I hope when they release it they make everyone drive 20 miles in dense traffic, while listening to Traffic, make you wait in line for at least ten minutes and send you off on your way because they don't have any left. That way you can drive 20 miles back through all that dense traffic until you make it back home wondering why you left your house in the first place since it's software and can be bought online. You can feel good though. When it comes out you'll be prepared.

I love listening to Traffic, John Barleycorn Must Die and The Low Spark of High Heeled Boys rocked, not to mention the 1st album with Dave Mason.
Secretly tho' I'm saving $200 for the update, just waiting for the drop...
