I bought it during the holiday sale, 40 bucks was too cheap to ignore. I also found theres three hours of very good video tutorial at Lynda.com, which is my go-to provider for learning. As others said, you can run both versions on the same machine... so while I'm still learning X3, I can use Home Studio 6 to finish projects I've already started... until I'm ready.
