Hi all.

I need to reactivate Melodyne because some dumb idiot chose not to Cancel the Melodyne part of X3d.

Normally this shouldn't be a problem, but there's no Serial Number listed in my Cakewalk Account.

I also don't have any email confirmations or anything related to Melodyne, so does anyone have a clue how to proceed?

Edit to add: My account shows X3 reg/'serial no#s but nothing for Melodyne/Celemony

I'm so glad I didn't fall into that one... I so nearly nearly did - really really easy to make that mistake.. Ah well at least you know melodyne will be nice and clean :)

Yes Steve, I was already going down that route just before you posted.

All sorted now - thanks one and all.

FWIW, I have a Melodyne Essential serial number in my Cakewalk account. I believe you had to have one at some time or you could not have registered Melodyne in the first place.

Yes I did.

I purchased the box set of X3 and my serial numbers didn't show up, but Andrew from Cakewalk kindly sorted it and I was able to register everything ok.

But for some reason, the Melodyne one has disappeared, only X3 remains, there's not trace of Addictive drums either, but AD doesn't need re-registering.

Yeah, it occurred to me this probably was an issue related to boxed upgrade after I wrote the last post. Maybe you can get CW to add the data back to your account. As a backup I keep snapshots of all my user account screens on my PC.

That's a very good idea - what I should do is copy & paste them all into a spreadsheet, it's just another of the numerous little jobs that i never get around to doing.

I like the spreadsheet idea, Colin.

I have a folder in Outlook, or whatever it's called now, with all my registration emails in.  It can take a while to sift through them all, though.

I think I may go down your route, though, because at least then I could print off a hard copy.

I have a feeling that this may become one of those great ideas that I never get round to, though, like backing up stuff..

Only joking..

Glad you got it sorted.

OT - How's the new studio getting along?

Ack... revoke that user's privileges!!

+1 to the spreadsheet... I have gotten complacent with the CW store side, but all third party things I end up "never finding" if I don't spend the 2 minutes getting it into a spreadsheet at purchase time.
