I just save the Web pages from all my accounts in a folder.

I copy and paste my serial and reg numbers into Notepad and save that .txt file with the install files onto a data CD or DVD.

I've toyed with the idea of collating all of my serial numbers into one place, but every time I think about doing it I realize how easy it is to search my Gmail for them. That's the thing about searches nowadays, you don't really have to organize anything. Just keep it one big crazy pile and retrieve what you need in an instant with a quick search query. The OCD part of me still thinks that I should organize and file everything for the sake of it, but I'm always able to override those feelings with a good old dose of logic.

All my installer folders have a serial.txt file in them if relevant.

That's a very good idea - what I should do is copy & paste them all into a spreadsheet, it's just another of the numerous little jobs that i never get around to doing.

I like the spreadsheet idea, Colin.

I have a folder in Outlook, or whatever it's called now, with all my registration emails in.  It can take a while to sift through them all, though.

I think I may go down your route, though, because at least then I could print off a hard copy.

I have a feeling that this may become one of those great ideas that I never get round to, though, like backing up stuff..

Only joking..

Glad you got it sorted.

OT - How's the new studio getting along?

It's not quite finished, but it's in a state where I can at least record & make music in it.

Several things are currently on hold because I only have 2 more working days left here before I'm laid off.
I've been job hunting for a good 7/8weeks now, but so far nothing.

Thanks for asking mate

I need to reactivate Melodyne because some dumb idiot chose not to Cancel the Melodyne part of X3d.

Interesting. I DID 'fall for' this and yet, I didn't have to reactivate or re-enter serial numbers or anything like that. And I can't explain why, either.

Very odd indeed Ron.

Makes no sense to me at all.

I haven't even downloaded D.  So, what are you supposed to do?  Cancel Melodyne or continue?  I should go ahead and do it but I'm adding a touchscreen monitor and can only do one thing at a time, it seems.

I have a word file w/ all my serial numbers on it.  Once you get it going it is pretty easy, although I don't think I've got all my numbers on it.  It never fails that when I need a serial number, it is one of the ones I forgot to add.  Sigh.  First world problems.

AT... the X3d patch launches the Melodyne installer (which really should be removed from the patch IMHO)... Since you are merely patching X3, when that Melodyne installer window pops open hit CANCEL (you have zero interest in re-installing, repairing, or deleting it).

Cool, that's what I thought.  But it is confusing.  Thanks.
