I HAVE A CERTAIN TRACK ON MY NEW CD THAT SEEMS TO TURN DOWN AT A SECTION OF THE SONG MIDWAY THROUGH, THEN TURNS BACK UP3/4  THE WAY THROUGH. YES I CAN SEE THE WAVES, AND NO THERE ARE NO VOLUME NODES DOING ANYTHING OTHER THAN THE INTRO ON ANOTHER TRACK. I HAVE TURNED OFF BYPASS READ AUTOMATION, AND CLEARED ALL WRITE ENABLES. I HAVE ALSO WENT BACK TO THE FIRST DAY OF RECORDING AND EXPORTED THE KICK AND IMPORTED IT INTO THE FINAL MIX AND IT WORKS GOOD FOR A DAY OR SO THEN BANG... HERE COMES THE MAGICAL NODE TURNING DOWN THE VOLUME AGAIN?? ANYBODY HAVE ANY IDEAS HERE OR KNOW OF A WELL KNOWN BUG THAT DOES THIS IN SONAR X3 PRO?
 
I RUN WIN 7 64 BIT, SP1 ALMOST ALL 64 BIT PLUGINS. I7 - 16 GIG.

OK, ALSO WHEN I CUT OUT ANOTHER SECTION OF KICK AND DRAG IT TO THE AREA OF THE SONG THAT HAS NO KICK, THIS NEW WAVE ALSO PLAYS NO SOUND AT THE EXACT LOCATION. IT'S JUST THAT SECTION OF SONG THAT NO KICK TRACK WILL BE HEARD? YOU CAN SEE THE WAVES BUT HEAR NOTHING.

It might be phase cancellation. You might have the same sound duplicated out of phase?
Just a wild shot. It's not a bug.
Solo tracks to track it down.
If it's a midi drum track you might have a CC volume event in another track etc.  

Why do people write in all caps? Never been able to figure that one out.

I don't know if it applies, but some drum synths and other plugin instruments for some reason I have never understood - connect up their Master Volume to CC 7, which then causes the Master Volume to get changed when it is neither expected nor desired.
 
I use Batter 3 and Kontakt 5, both from Native Instruments, and I go into the options for each of these synths and change the defaults so that neither synth connects their Master Volume to CC 7 changes.
 
For ME, the above clears up that issue - perhaps you could list which synths this is happening to you with, and then maybe we could help you get it figured out and resolved.

SOLVED IT. HAD TO GO BACK AND IMPORT ALL DRUMS. OH, SNARES,KICKS, ROOMS. IT SEEMS THAT SOMEWHERE ALONG THE WAY READ AUTOMATION DID SOMETHING OR ANOTHER. STILL HAVE NO IDEA WHY, BUT STARTING OVER AGAIN AND IMPORTING THE ORIGNAL DRUM TRACKS DID WORK.
  AND YES I KNOW I TYPE IN CAPS.... I AM 1/2 BLIND ANYMORE. SUE ME...LOL AM I REALLY NEVER EVER ALOUD TO TYPE IN CAPS? THINK OUTSIDE THE BOX PEOPLE...LOL IT'S BIGGER LETTERS.  SOCIETY IS NOT GOING TO MAKE ME CLICK MY CAP LOCKS.LOL

ALSO THEY WERE AUDIO FILES AND NOT MIDI
