Do a Google search for SONAR and you have to go halfway down the first page before you get to anything about music software (on the other hand, search for BandLab and the software compnay is the number 1 return).

An incredibly astute point...
Even REAPER, also (like SONAR) with an actual word as the name, returns as the first object in a google search...

The obvious I guess would be Cakewalk... the fact that they're using the logo means they've probably got rights to the name in any case.

I just found this site. Put a DAW related word into the "optional word" field at the top and hit generate, and it will come up with a bunch of (mostly crap) names based on that word.
