I need to create a gap between the end of a chorus and the beginning of a verse to allow for a small solo.
 
I have markers in place for the entire song. 
 
When sliding clips I think the markers remain unchanged.  Is it possible to great a gap in the middle of the piece so the markers move with the clips?

Project > Insert Time/Measures...
