Scott, Just a quick note to tell you that I keep finding gems of wisdom for shortcuts and how to's in the book that I either did not know or just plain forgot about. Sonar X3 is a vast program with so many ways of getting to your final mix that I use Sonar X3 Power! every day.
Hey Clint... thanks very much, man! I appreciate it. Yeah, there are a lot of tips sprinkled throughout the book, which is why I recommend everyone read it from cover-to-cover at least once and then use it as a reference after that. Otherwise, you're not getting the full value.
With each new version of SONAR, Cakewalk adds some large features, but it also makes many smaller changes to different parts of the program, so the tips in the book also have to be spread out among the various chapters so that they correspond to the features being covered.
Each new book edition actually has more than just new feature coverage.
So what kind of tunes are you working on now?
Scott
