Spoke with teh support yesterday and based upon slow performance and frequent UI hang, I was advised to reinstall.
 
When I installed prior, there were several patches which I applied in succession b,c,d,e.  Is there an image that includes the patches so that I don't need to install them?  This may have contributed to the issue.

Cakewalk does not update the initial installers. To install run the initial installers and then apply the E update. It is a cumulative patch. Here are the X3 clean install instructions http://www.cakewalk.com/S...n-Install-Instructions
