Howdy All...

...never asked this question or seen it here...
in broadcast production ...for example ... has anyone worked with half a second in front and back for a finished product ...IOW... a 30 second audio could be delivered as 29.8 seconds

My problem (may be my inadequacy)

1. often ...a finished project in SONAR may display 60 seconds on the time scale ...it's often a couple seconds too short or too long... as ascertained by exporting to .wav for trimming and leveling in Adobe Audition 3

Thanks in Advance for Any Replies...

That is why for stuff like that I edit in a wave editor. You can chop the beginning and end to the nano second. Sonar does not give you that kind of exact precision with export. All you can do is highlight the timeline but that takes too long IMHO.  Easier to just export and do the tops and tails in the editor. That is what they are for.
