Hi gang...

I'm installing x3 for a friend on a new PC and he's lost his pa9 disk. His account shows PA9 as well as the mp3 encoder, but no download link and no instructions...

Can anyone give me any more info?

Thanks...
Keni

The ProAudio 9 disk no longer works, your friend needs to contact support for a link to the new unlock program.

Its on sale now for $9.99.  I would just buy it which I just did. You will never have to buy it again. I also have Pro Audio 9.

Is the Sonar mp3 encoder a better option than just using cdex?

The sonar mp3 encoder pops up a dialog for selecting the mp3 settings while using the external encoder requires making separate entries for each mp3 format you wish to use...

No other differences that I know of...

I just setup lame 3.99 at 192 in a few minutes for him to use until we can get the sonar encoder installed... Works just fine...

I prefer Aaron's Sonar Mp3 Patch! It's free and is much more flexible.

Hi Sidroe...

What is this and where can it be found? Is it more versatile than the sonar encoder's dialog? I mean, what else is there to an mp3 other than the options the dialog contains?

Thanks!
