I'm not sure where it went, but I had to reinstall Sonar X2 and it was gone. I used to be able to drop stuff in here to equalize and level out the master and stuff, how can I get this back?

Your screenshot shows the inspector view, and the master output to your audio interface.
Don't think you can drag and drop stuff here. You need to toggle on the "master bus" which has the  FX bin.
Can't exactly tell from your screen shot, but isn't that the master bus to left ?

Every now and then, the bus turns up blank when I make a change to the track. All I do is change the focus to a different track , then go back to the original track and the bus is back. I think it's a graphics thing with Sonar, but I've never had it disappear and not come back. Is this what's happening to you?

 I don't believe so.

How do I view my master bus?

Alright, I may have answered my own question. I right clicked on the right side of the console in the grey area next to what I'm assuming is the "main out to my soundcard", once I right clicked, the option to "Insert Stereo Bus" or "Insert Surround Bus" appeared, I chose "Insert Stereo Bus", I should be able to route everything to this for FX right?

I still can't get it to work, I suck at this. I don't know why it was working fine before. Not sure what happened.

Did you make a stereo "master" bus, and send all tracks in your project to it, and then send that master bus to the audio interface output ? If so, at the bottom of the track view there is a button to show/hide the bus pane, then you can select the master bus and it will show up in the inspector view, then you can drag things onto the FX bin.

Just did that, lagging like crazy now. Not sure whats happening here, about 13 tracks. I tried freezing all of them to see if that helped reduce lag but nope.

Lagging ? Latency ? If you've added a plugin to the master bus that introduces latency, you may need to adjust your audio interface settings to a higher buffer size to handle that plugin. What plugin are you adding ?
