I know I'll kick myself when I find out but I cannot figure out how to insert a copy of a plugin to multiple tracks. I want to insert a VU meter to each track in a project without having to insert them individually. Thanks for the help with my senior moment!

I drag it to one track in Console View then ctrl+drag it to all the others.
 
When the Pro Channel is expanded, you can drag them into the Pro Channel as well.
 
If you select the tracks you want at the bottom of the tracks and ctrl+click the Pro Channel expand icon, you can expand only the selected tracks.

That's what I do as well but I was hoping there was a way to do it with quick grouping or something. It's kind of a pain to drag 30 instances.

Well, ok... if it was a PC Module, you can expand the Pro Channel and at the top of the channel (where no FX are) ctrl+right click (keep holding ctrl) and select INSERT MODULE and pick your module. It will insert on all tracks selected.
 
Now, if it is not a PC Module, I don't know how to do it.
 
And I agree, it's a pain to drag them to all the tracks in part because every time you drag it to a new track it opens the effect dialog window.

You can select the tracks you want the plug ins on, hold the CTRL key down and direct your pointer to the plug in you wish to insert.

Do I double click the effect in the browser? Navigate to the effect? Are you inserting in the fx bin or the pro-channel?

I use the menu. I don't use the browser aside from the synth rack. I've done this inserting PC modules. I would imagine it works with other effects as well.

It doesn't work with inserting effects in the effects bin, unfortunately. 

I just checked. It only works with PC modules.
