Every time I reset my VST's I get this "cannot open ARX MIDI ports" error message. However I do not own a V-Studio 700 and have never tried to install anything relating to it on my DAW. 
 
Any ideas? 

Try uninstalling SONAR and when you reinstall it, verify the V-Studio items to make sure. It should not take but a few minutes.

Same problem here. There are answers for 8.5 through X2, but nothing on X3? It is very annoying. It takes 4 times longer to start than 8.5 did. You get these loud alarms in your headphones, at least 5 times when program starting. It sucks. I can't find ARX or VS-700 in any of my config files?
